Visitors to Blackpool Pleasure Beach can watch the world’s longest running ice skating show for free this summer. The show promises to deliver ‘a perfect composition of fire and ice’.
Hot Ice, has returned to the rink with ‘skating spectacular’ Rapture – an ‘entrancing new performance that features an extraordinary cast of Olympic proportions’. Guests are now invited to ‘marvel at a cavalcade of breath-taking choreography, as well as enigmatic music, lighting and pyrotechnics’.
Visitors of the theme park will be able to get free access to the show, which takes place at 2.30pm, with their entry tickets. The matinee shows – which costs from £10 standing up to £28 premium – lasts for 50 minutes.
To get your standing or seating tickets, all you have to do is show your eTicket at the Arena Box Office ahead of the afternoon performance. There is limited availability, so it’s first come, first served for these seats, MEN reports.
Of course there’s all the rides of the Pleasure Beach to enjoy too, including the Big One, Revolution, the park’s newest ride ICON – the UK’s first ever double-launch rollercoaster – and rides for little ones in Nickelodeon Land, where they’ll also catch a glimpse of characters including Paw Patrol’s Chase and SpongeBob SquarePants.
There’s entertainment in the HuB, as well as the chance to get messy in Slime Time, which takes place daily from 12pm at FY4 near the fountains – which come in handy to wash it away once you’re done.
Theme park tickets, from £32, (from £38 for late night riding) can be booked online, with the final late night riding session of the summer (when rides stay open until 10pm) taking place on August 27.
