The soap star hasn’t revealed the details of her hospital visit
Former Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon has shared with fans how she was forced to spend some time in hospital over the weekend.
The ITV star from Blackpool posted a picture on her Instagram Stories showing herself on an IV drip. Known for her former role as Amanda Beckett, the 45 year old actress wrote: “So…. Not the greatest of weekends.”
Fans could see Hayley in tucked under a hospital blanket and her arm could be seen as she was hooked up to the IV. She hasn’t revealed the full reason of her trip to the hospital. OK! has contacted her reps for comment.
Hayley isn’t just known for her role in Corrie as she played Delilah Dingle on Emmerdale from 2005 to 2007. She’s been a regular face on TV in other shows such as Soapstar Superstar and Soapstar Superchef, finishing runner-up in the former, and ultimately winning the latter, as well as Dancing on Ice in 2010, which she won alongside professional ice skater Daniel Whiston.
Hayley is mother to an almost-three-year-old son, Jasper, who she shares with her former fiancé Adrian. The coupe split in March 2022 and the actress shared a poignant post on her Instagram page for Mother’s Day, as she explained she is now a single parent to her son Jasper.
Hayley and her toddler posed for an adorable selfie. In the caption, Hayley wrote: “I’ve not posted in a long time, but I Thought today was a good time to tell you all, before you hear about it or see it elsewhere.
“This Mother’s Day is different for me, as I’m now a single mum. Mine and jaspers life has been turned upside down over the past few months.. but I realise the best thing to come out of this is jasper.
“For he is all I need.. and all I’ve ever wanted,” the actress went on. “He makes me so happy!” I’m so lucky I get to be his mummy,” the star said. “And I’m very proud of myself for overcoming the many obstacles I’ve faced since he was born. To any other single mamas out there.. I salute you. Have the most wonderful day.”
