RNLI and Coastguard rescue person from sea in Blackpool

RNLI and HM Coastguard volunteers were called out at 9.42pm after a person was spotted in the water near North Pier.

Coastguard rescue officers located the person and guided RNLI crews to them.

Both of the RNLI D-class lifeboats were launched and the person was recovered and brought safely back to shore.
