Shopping in Blackpool

Blackpool is also a well-known shopping destination with a fantastic range of historic and modern shopping venues. Blackpool Market is housed in an attractive Victorian building and is one of the largest covered markets in the North West. Its 250 stalls sell all manner of goods. Alternatively, visit Freeport Blackpool, a modern, waterfront outlet shopping village which has 45 bargain clearance shops including Next, M&S, and Gap.

 

Blackpool has a whole host of shopping options, with high-street names, independent boutiques, and open-air markets catering for locals and visitors alike. For some serious retail therapy, a trip to Houndshill Shopping Centre is a must. In the heart of the resort, it’s just a stone’s throw from the Promenade, and with over 60 stores fashionistas can find all their favourite shops, including Debenhams, H&M, New Look, Footaslym, Peacocks and River Island. The Disney Store and Build-a-bear take care of the kids, while there are enough phone shops to keep the tech-savvy among us happy.

 

The Regent is a unique antiques and craft centre set within one of Blackpool’s oldest landmarks. Located within a grade 2 listed building that used to be a cinema the regent has 3 floors of stalls full of antiques collectables crafts and Vintage and so much more. The Regent is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m with completely free entry. With a large car park opposite The Regent is very accessible and definitely not to be missed.
